Chair Swing Assembly Instructions Thank you for purchasing your new Chair Swing from Torrans Manufacturing Co., LLC. Assembly of the Chair Swing can be accomplished by one person however, it is advised that you have a helper during a few of the assembly steps to lessen the chance of marring the powder coat finish. Working on a clean padded surface or a lawn is recommended. Avoid concrete as your assembly area. Occasionally, when opening your metal lawn furniture, you may have some discoloration. This is caused from condensation in the packaging; it is easily removed with chrome polish and a soft cloth Should you encounter issues with your new Chair Swing, its parts or assembly, please contact us at 888-229-2421, ext. 2, or email tmc@torransmfgco.com. Please read and follow all the steps in these Assembly Instructions. Care and maintenance of your new Chair Swing painted parts is quite minimal. (Please see care instructions for Fabric Top below) The finish is Exterior Grade, Ultra Violet resistant Powder Coat and it will keep its gloss and smooth appearance for many years of enjoyment. It is resistant to all household cleansers and any common kitchen product can be used. However, Powder Coat is not scratch proof. It does compare in hardness to the finish of modern automobile paints. Generally a good bath with a soapy sponge removes all common yard stains. We have found a small application of liquid auto wax such as “NU-FINISH” lessens efforts required to remove repeat stains such as bird droppings and tree sap and increases the gloss of the Powder Coat. A small drop or two of lubricate from time to time will remove squeaks on contact points of the Swing Arms Springs. Care of the fabric Top should be limited to hand washing with common household fabric cleaners. Please do not put the Top in a washing machine or use a powder washer to clean it. Avoid placing your Chair Swing where damage to the Top might occur from falling objects such as tree branches. To extend its life, removal of the Top is recommended when high winds, storms, heavy snow or ice is expected. Step 1. Assemble Chair Seat and Back with hardware as shown in Fig. 1.
