Assembly for Metal Lawn FurniturePlease select from list below for instructions on assembly. Care for Metal Lawn Furniture Care and maintenance of your new metal lawn furniture is quite minimal. The finish is Exterior Grade, Ultra Violet resistant Powder Coat and it will keep its gloss and smooth appearance for many years of enjoyment. It is resistant to all household cleansers and most common kitchen product can be used. However, Powder Coat is not scratch proof. It does compare in hardness to the finish of modern automobile paints. Generally a good bath with a soapy sponge removes all common yard stains. We have found a small application of liquid auto wax such as “NU-FINISH” lessens efforts required to remove repeat stains such as bird droppings and tree sap and increases the gloss of the Powder Coat. A small drop or two of lubricate from time to time will remove squeaks in the nylon bushings of the Swing Arms on the gliders and on contact points of the Swing Arm Springs on the chair swing. Care of the fabric Top should be limited to hand washing with common household fabric cleaners. Please do not put the Top in a washing machine or use a powder washer to clean it. Avoid placing your Chair Swing where damage to the Top might occur from falling objects such as tree branches. To extend its life, removal of the Top is recommended when high winds, storms, heavy snow or ice is expected.
East Texas Adirondack Furniture will be coming back sometime in 2009!! Starting with the Chair and side table then the Rocker. The Tete-a-tete will come later in the year or into 2010! Assembly for East Texas Adirondack Furniture Please select from list below for instructions on assembly. East Texas Adirondack Chair Assembly Care for East Texas Adirondack Furniture All TMC's East Texas Adirondack furniture is made from select cypress. It is a wonderful wood for outdoor furniture. Cypress accepts paint very well or can be left to weather to a soft gray tone. It is highly rot and insect resistant and can be left out of doors continually. You may notice a slight odor when you receive your order. This odor is harmless and should disappear in a few days once the piece is fully assembled and allowed to air. Our oil finish contains Ultra Violet or "UV" protection and will maintain the natural blond color of the cypress. It may need to be renewed every year or two depending on the amount of sun exposure the piece receives. You can use your own favorite brand of oil treatment or purchase from us when it comes time to renew. Our Chairs and Tête-à-tête seats and backs are stamped metal with a powder coat finish. The use of powder coating extends the life of the chair, making is more resistant to rust, chips and fading. Your chair seats and backs will benefit from a light application of automobile finish protector. It is a good idea to apply a small film of protector at time of assembly if you intend to leave your chair exposed to the full effects of the sun.If you use your Chair or Tête-à-tête near a salt water environment, a fresh water bath from a garden hose time to time will help to maintain its appearance. |
